Description
Audrey Louisa is a fantastic example of a 47ft Power Catamaran ready for the extended time on the water. This vessel was custom built for a very experienced MIT engineer who duplexed all the electronics including radars- Simrad and Garmin. There is a third set of engine controls starboard aft for convenient single handed docking or mooring pickup. The selling owner has often single handed her.
The Maine Cat P-47's combination of attractive "Down East" classic lines, high quality spacious accommodations, light-weight composite construction, superb ride quality and excellent cruising range, makes her the perfect vessel for just about any occasion. The boat is incredibly fuel efficient. While perfect for weekend getaways or the Great Loop, the P-47 was also designed with ocean waters in mind, perfect for heading for the northern parts of Maine down to the southern parts heading into the Bahamas.
Her hull design offers a fantastic ride along with all the stability anyone would know and come to love when operating a power catamaran.
The beauty of the P-47 platform is the abundance of space, excellent 360 degree visibility and tons of headroom, making her feel like a much larger vessel. She features the standard two cabin layout, with the Master Stateroom featuring an enormous king size bed. Both cabins have spacious en-suite heads, with electric toilets and separate shower stalls. The saloon settee can easily be converted to a king-size berth, for the occasional additional guests as well as the port side bench seat able to convert to a berth as well. The unique galley configuration has extensive counter space for easy entertaining for anytime and anywhere.
