Description
ON DECK:
Starting at her teak swim platform, Memory II has a large, open aft deck with bench seating and teak pedestal table. She has a tan three-panel canvas drop-down curtain enclosure with isinglass windows at the aft end of her cabin top. Just inside the enclosure to starboard is a storage cabinet and to port is a flip-up table with two captains chairs.
At her helm deck, two, white, pilot seats are mounted to adjustable pedestal bases. To port is a large refrigerator compartment cooled by a Sea Frost plate. Her helm is to starboard with classic ships wheel, updated GARMIN chart plotter, and throttle controls. Centerline at her helm deck is her engine compartment hatch with a gas strut for ease of opening. The side panels, below each captain chair can also be removed for further access to her propulsion. The vessel's control panel and battery switched are mounted below the helm and inboard towards the companionway.
Access to her side-decks is unbeatable: there's a sliding door at each helm seat, affording her operator and co-pilot a simple step up to her side decks and solid and safe handholds within easy reach.
Her biscuit/ tan decks reduce glare while looking forward underway. The exterior non-skid is in incredible shape. A stainless steel handrail is mounted to her cabin-top and runs all the way up to her bow. Two substantial bronze cleats grace her bow. Bronze caulks lead back on either side of the integrated anchor roller and centerline windlass, with foot pedal controls to port. The integrated toe rail is capped with a bronze protective detail.
Looking aft from her bow, you'll see a clean hard cabin top with three windshield sections, each with a dedicated wiper blade and control. Her GARMIN radar dome is mounted to an equipment mast at centerline, a searchlight to starboard, horn to port and stainless steel hand rails run the full length of her cabin top roof.
BELOW DECK:
As you proceed down her companionway steps, Memory II opens up to a spacious and attractive layout: head compartment to starboard, sleeping accommodations forward and galley to port.
Her head compartment is comprised of a single stainless steel sink, large medicine cabinet, overhead dome lighting, bronze operating port with screen and marine flush. Teak detailing is present throughout and underfoot is a solid wood floor with dedicated sump drain.
The L-shaped galley is directly to port. Starting at base of the companionway steps, there's a sizable, bulkhead mounted open cabinet, paper towel dispenser, propane sniffer, additional storage locker with Sea Frost cooling plate, very deep stainless steel sink basin, sliding storage outboard, two overhead dome lights mounted in her headline, two bronze operating ports with screens, three-burner stove top with oven below and drawer and additional cabinet storage below the countertop.

Rob grew up on the coast of Maine where he began sailing at the age of 8 through a local yacht club program. He learned many important lessons about teamwork in those early days of sailing turnabouts and 420âs. Later he would become an instructor with that same program teaching kids and adults the joys of day sailing and racing. After graduating from college in 2002 he then moved to Annapolis Maryland and began his career as a yacht broker specializing in the sale of blue water trawlers and sailboats.
Upon his return to Maine in 2013 he opened a satellite office for a brokerage based in Newport at Handy Boat Service in Falmouth. Here he oversaw the sale of both new and used boats with an emphasis on cruising sailboats. In 2017 Rob joined the team at East Coast Yacht Sales in their Yarmouth office where he continues to develop and hone his abilities to coordinate custom boat builds and facilitate smooth transactions for both buyers and sellers on the brokerage market.Â
