Yarmouth, Maine, United States
On just her second owners, this shoal draft version of the popular Sabre 42 has been nicely upgraded over the years and always yard maintained. She has been lightly used with most of her cruising being along the coast of Maine and then out of the water covered over for 8-9 months each year. Currently in the water and ready to sail away.

Description
Accommodations
Accommodations for up to seven in an exquisitely crafted full oiled teak interior with a varnished teak and holly sole. The Sabre 42 is well noted for its abundance of natural light and ventilation with four large fixed ports, twelve opening ports, eight hatches and four dorade vents. Artificial light is equally generous with new swivel style reading lamps at all berth/settees as well as a number of overhead lamps in work spaces.
Starting forward is the private Forward Stateroom featuring a V-berth with filler below which there is storage in drawers and drop face lockers. Further forward there is some bin type storage below the berth. Above the berth the hull is lined with Cyprus ceilings and there are full length storage shelves. Aft of the starboard V is a bureau with drawers and a hanging locker. Opposite is the Private Forward Head with manual W.C. plumbed via a Y-valve to the holding tank, vanity with stainless sink H&C pressure water and storage. There is an ensuite shower arrangement which drains to a separate sump.
Next aft is the spacious Main Salon featuring an L-settee to port and straight settee to starboard below which there is some storage. There is also storage behind the seat backs and in lockers and shelves above the seat backs. The port settee pulls out to make a double berth. Dining is from a large teak table that will comfortably handle 6-8 and stores against the forward bulkhead when not in use.
Next aft to starboard is the aft facing Navigation Station which includes a flip top type chart table, drawers for storage, the yacht's electrical distribution panels and some electronics. Just aft of this is the Aft Head featuring a VacuFlush Head (2006), separate shower compartment with separate sump, vanity with stainless sink with pressure H&C water and plenty of storage.
Opposite to port is the U-shaped Galley featuring expansive white Formica counter tops, double basin stainless steel sink with pressure H&C water & manual fresh and manual salt water pumps. There is a large "icebox" fitted with Seafrost engine driven refrigeration providing both freezer and refrigeration capacity. Cooking is done from the 3 burner gimballed CNG stove with oven.
Aft of the Galley is the private Aft Stateroom with queen sized berth, bureau and hanging locker and underdeck lockers. On C/L is private access to the aft head.

Like most of us at East Coast Yacht Sales, Kristofer has a passion for sailing and the ocean. He spent time as a kid sailing dinghies and cruising the coast of Maine with his family. Kristofer was born in Norway, his father's home country, but moved to Maine at a young age, where his mother is from. Growing up in Brunswick Maine, he spent his summers working at various yacht clubs, boat yards and marinas and spent winters ski racing for Carrabassett Valley Academy.Â
After graduating from Colorado College in 2000, Kris went to work for Hinckley Yachts. Soon after, Kris restored a 1973 Pearson 36 and sailed down to the Caribbean where he lived aboard and worked in the marina and charter boat industry.
Upon returning to Maine, Kris earned an MBA degree and worked for Harbor Technologies, a startup company in the marine composites industry, while also teaching composite boat building courses at the Maine Advanced Technology Center. In 2012 he had the opportunity to buy Buck's Harbor Marine, a small marina and charter boat business in Brooksville, Maine, which he owned and operated for several years.
In 2021 Kris moved from Blue Hill to Yarmouth, along with his wife and their three children, to join the East Coast Yacht Sales team. He is enthusiastic about all kinds of boats and enjoys helping clients find their perfect boat.
