Description
Maratime is an Aft Cockpit version of the Ted Hood designed Bristol 41.1. She offers a 2 stateroom 2 head layout with plenty of headroom in a teak and mahogany interior. She is rigged for shorthanded cruising and has been well maintained. Enjoy gunkholing with the shoal draft drawing only 4'6" with the board up, and sea kindly open ocean passages with a full 10' draft board down. Maratime is hull 70 of 104 built, and she shows the superb fit and finish details of Bristol craftsmanship. A desirable aft cockpit model for offshore sailing, this medium displacement cruiser tracks very well and handles heavy weather with ease. In short, the Bristol 41.1 AC is built to a high standard and is intended for blue water cruising, with an acceptable turn of speed. Storage is far better than most modern production boats, she has a real bilge, ventilation is good, and fuel and water tankage are very good. Maratime is only available due to owner's change in plans and is ready for new adventures.

Accommodations
Maratime is an aft cockpit centerboard sloop. Starting forward is the owners stateroom with a V-berth that has a filler. Overhead are hatches and opening ports for light and ventilation. Next aft to port is a head with shower, sink and lockers. The salon has an L-shaped double-bunk to port, a fixed double drop leaf dining table and a pull-out large single bunk to starboard. Opening ports and three hatches, plus the companionway keeps Maratime bright and well-ventilated. The navigation station is at the base of the companionway ladder by the galley. The aft cabin and second head is at the base of the companionway to port. This cabin has a double quarter berth, drawers for storage and a shelf above the berth.
The L-shaped galley is mid-ship to starboard and equipped with 12V refrigeration, single sink with hot/cold mixer faucet and hand pump, newer Dickinson propane stove/oven, and extendable counter space.
Blue fabric cushions throughout along with the wood cabinetry give the salon a warm, cozy feel. The interior finish is hand rubbed, satin varnished teak, with teak and holly sole.
The cockpit is spacious with a cockpit table and Edson pedestal wheel steering. A bimini and dodger protect the crew from weather while cockpit cushions provide comfortable seating.
