Description
"Wildfire" is a 1999 Beneteau 411 sloop that has been well maintained and continually upgraded since the current owner acquired her in 2017.
She is commodious both on deck and below deck with plenty of room for socializing, lounging and just relaxing whether underway, at the dock, or anchored in your favorited secluded cove. With a shallow draft (4.75 ft) but low center of gravity keel, she is stable yet has access to shallower cruising grounds that are off limits to deeper keel boats. She is a perfect boat for the Bahamas.
All lines are led aft to the cockpit which makes sailing her a breeze if shorthanded, and all sail handling can be accomplished safely within the confines of the cockpit and out of the weather behind a dodger.
List of recent improvements include: All new electrical system, including LED lighting fixtures, new Lewmar hatches, new interior canvas, new Sunbrella Dodger, new Batteries with Renology Bimini mounted solar panels and Xantrex inverter / charger, new Kenwood stereo system and new hot water heater..
The Beneteau 411 offers an amazingly spacious interior with beautiful, rich woodwork while providing performance and true ease of handling on the water. Her sharp lines and sumptuous comfort may catch your eye first, but it will be her sailing performance that confirms her heritage. Awarded 1998 Boat of the year Category: Full-size cruiser, best value by Cruising World.
"Wildfire" is ready to take you on whatever adventure you can dream up!

Sean graduated from The University of Pennsylvania where he was on the lightweight crew and was captain of the Penn Sailing team. Summer jobs often included running offshore racing yachts, as well as commissioning and delivering yachts up and down the eastern seaboard.
PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENTS
After college, Sean began his yacht design career with Pedrick Yacht Designs in Newport, RI where he contributed to such notable designs as Stars and Stripes â87 for the Americaâs Cup and the IOR Maxi boats âSovereignâ and âDrumbeatâ. After ten years, he continued his design career with his own company, Fawcett Designs where he was part of the technology team for the America3 Americas Cup campaign.
